Join Canada’s Beef Community at CBIC 2026
Every two years, Canada’s beef industry comes together for one event dedicated to learning, connecting and celebrating the people who drive the beef sector forward.
The 2026 Canadian Beef Industry Conference (CBIC) brings together producers, researchers, veterinarians, students, industry leaders and partners from across the country for four days of learning, collaboration and celebration.
More than a conference, CBIC is Canada’s premier biennial beef industry event and a unique chance to explore emerging opportunities, gain practical insights and strengthen connections across the sector.
As a founding partner of CBIC, the Beef Cattle Research Council (BCRC) is proud to support an event that showcases the research, innovation and leadership helping advance a strong and competitive Canadian beef industry.
Why Attend?
From market and weather volatility to consumer trends and emerging technologies, the issues facing Canadian beef producers are constantly evolving. CBIC offers attendees the chance to gain insights from trusted experts, learn about the latest research and innovations and connect with fellow producers who are tackling similar challenges on their own operations.
Just as importantly, CBIC is an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day demands of the ranch, farm, office or lab and spend time with others who share a passion for the beef industry.
CBIC is the opportunity for Canada’s beef community to come together under one roof to learn, connect and celebrate the industry’s successes.
The BCRC will present the Canadian Beef Industry Award for Outstanding Research and Innovation at the CIBC Banquet. This prestigious award recognizes a researcher whose dedication, leadership, mentorship and innovative contributions have helped advance Canada’s beef industry. As research continues to play a critical role in improving productivity, sustainability and profitability, this award celebrates those whose work is making a meaningful difference for producers across the country.
Whether you’re looking for practical production insights, the latest research findings, valuable industry connections or fresh perspectives on the future of Canadian beef, CBIC 2026 delivers opportunities to learn, engage and be inspired.
