Canadian Beef Knowledge Mobilization Network

The Canadian Beef Knowledge Mobilization Network brings together individuals from across the country who are involved in beef and forage extension efforts. The group focuses on identifying opportunities to communicate and collaborate with each other on knowledge mobilization initiatives that lead to greater adoption of relevant technologies and beneficial production practices on Canadian beef farms and ranches. 

The network’s activities include online meetings and staying in touch via email updates provided throughout the year. The goal is to help facilitate ongoing dialogue among network members, using this as a forum to hear updates about current and ongoing knowledge mobilization activities plus share ideas for future initiatives as a vehicle to build stronger collaboration. Members of the Network receive direct communication to ensure they are aware of extension funding opportunities, such as BCRC funding calls and any upcoming meetings or events.
